Welcome to ANTASTIC!

What is Antastic?

What is Antastic? Just a new Bug-hero comic! Antastic stars The Ant, or Anthony Andrews; a 35 year old superhero whose been doing the superhero thing since he was 17. Anthony gained ant-powers when he was a teenager in a strange science accident, and a moment of cowardace cost Anthony the life of his best friend.

Since then, Anthony has devoted himself to heroism. Anthony, now in his 30’s, is established in life, married, and has a new struggle. Lately, it feels like every few years, a new ant-based hero appears. After 18 years, he feels like a part of a franchise he has no control over, and questions his relevence in the face of so many more ‘cooler’ ant heroes of today.

How does the Patreon work?

We are set to deliver 6 pages every month, on the second Monday of the month. We will also occassionally release an Antastic Legends issue; one-shots in the past of The Ant’s story on an irregular schedule. I know Patreon doesn’t do goals anymore, but that is how we will milestone Antastic:

Milestones

$600 – This will pay our monthly expenses of running Antastic at 6 pages a month.

$1200 – We will do 12-pages a month; a full Antastic issue.

$2400 – FULL COLOR 12-pages a month

$3200 – Antastic Legends – new one-shot stories in the Ant’s past, released on a regular schedule of 1 issue every 2 months.

$5000 – Antastic Trades – we will explore doing 2 trades.
